The Arts
Arts Integration is a dynamic teaching approach where students engage in a creative process.
Our counselors and restorative specialist have been meeting with grade level groups to raise awareness for bullying prevention month at our school site.
What does this look like?
For our Tk-3rd Grade classes, Counselor Elizabeth Saunders has brought in the Kimochis. Kimochis are an elementary social emotional learning curriculum to give children the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to recognize and manage their emotions, demonstrate caring and concern for others, establish positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and handle challenging situations constructively. The Kimochis incorporates innovative and fun activities developed to teach children how to manage challenging social situations with skill, character and confidence.

Students are exposed to the arts with opportunities in music, dance, and the visual arts.
From volunteering in the classroom to joining campus-wide committees, there are many ways to support our school community.
